Matt Boyce earned a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Arkansas in Geology and a PhD at West Virginia University. His career in the oil patch began as a petrophysicist at ExxonMobil, where he evaluated and operated wells in the Permian, Paradox, Appalachia, Gulf Coast, Unita, Piceance, DJ, L.A., Anadarko, Michigan, Williston, and Sacramento basins. Subsequently, Mr. Boyce applied his dual career skills as a petrophysicist and geologist at Southwestern Energy where he was tasked with finding new opportunities in the Permian, Paradox, Anadarko, Sand Wash and Appalachian basins. Mr. Boyce was the owner of EPOCH Consulting and spent the last three years working for Private Equity, Private Operators, A&D groups and Public companies as a technical advisor.
